Phangan has no shortage of beaches ! Indeed, there are 32 beaches on Koh Phangan to choose from, 10 of them being in the vicinity of the villas.
Not all have been developed, so there are still those quiet and deserted beaches which can be very attractive.
Please note : all beaches on the west coast of Phangan, same as in Samui, because they are protected by offshore reefs, water is rather shallow, making it easy for children but maybe not as enjoyable if you like deep waters. The beaches are quiet and often narrow and have such shallow water that swimming is impossible in the months when low tide falls during the day, usually April through August. This is the case where we are situated. However we have protected a part of our beach so that whatever the season you may still sunbath on the beach… and if tide is too low you may still enjoy your swimming pool !
With 40% of the Koh Phangan Island protected, many parts of the Island are still untouched, which makes it perfect for trekking and camping. Most trekking routes link up peaceful coves and beaches, although there are also some fun treks in the jungle interior around the tallest mountain Khao Ra and Phaeng Waterfall National Park. Koh Phangan Island has a diverse topography which features dense and untouched rainforest, waterfalls; mountains and deserted coves.
